Cleveland Baptist Audio Video Ministry
Landing page for the AV documentation set. Orientation for current and future AV leaders, advanced operators, and volunteers: how to find the right room, the right discipline, and the right level of detail.
Overview
Cleveland Baptist Church’s AV documentation is meant to help three groups:
- Current and future AV leaders who need enough detail to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the ministry’s systems
- Leaders and advanced operators who need to understand how each room’s systems are designed and connected
- Volunteers who need clear, practical instructions for the specific position they are serving
This document is the landing page for the documentation set. Use it to find the right room, the right discipline, and the right level of detail. The documentation set is not only a volunteer training library; it is also intended to be an operational reference that a future AV director or ministry successor can use to understand how the systems fit together.
How to use these docs
- If you are serving in a room and need to know what to do, start with that room’s Volunteer Role Guide
- If you are troubleshooting, training others, planning changes, or trying to understand the full setup, start with that room’s Room Overview
- If you are taking over responsibility for the ministry’s systems, start with the shared Cross-Room References and then work room by room through the Room Overviews
- If you think in terms of Audio, Livestream, Projection, or Lighting, use the discipline index below to find the correct room documents
Documentation structure
AV Ministry.md- landing document and ministry-wide orientationshared/- shared references, operational references, templates, and change tracking{Room}/- each room’s overview, volunteer role guides, and supporting images or screenshots
Room-specific guides are the authoritative documents. If repeated patterns emerge across multiple rooms, they can be summarized in a shared cross-room reference, but they do not replace the room guides.
